My first batch of Kombucha is here! After failing to grow my own Scoby from scratch, I finally just decided to order a Scoby off of eBay. After a big debacle of not putting the correct address in, it finally arrived... Which I'm thankful for:) Then it had to brew for 10 days and now it's bottled and soaking up some flavoring. Should be all bubbly by tomorrow then just needs to be chilled in the fridge. I'm not expecting it to taste like store bought Kombucha, although I'm hoping it tastes OK. And so begins my home Kombucha brewing:)
The thing floating is the Scoby... which had a baby so now I have two!
