so the thing is... i don't cook with recipes. i suppose if i did more it would broaden my personal horizon a bit more. growing up i always watched my mom sprinkle a little of this and a little of that in a pot and that's what was for dinner. being married to the chef, it's just not cutting it anymore. i think he's getting sick of my surprise goulash that i put on the table night after night. of course he never complains... he REALLY encourages me to use recipes:) so i've decided to at least do half of the cooking with recipes...

today's lunch was my own creation of hash..lol. including onion, green pepper, potato, jalapeno, hot sausage, cheese, and cayenne pepper. he actually used the word delicious! you have to understand he has extremely high standards! i think i've only heard those words a few times and mostly with his mom's food:)

tonight's food was with a recipe (that he picked)... yes i had to buy beer. i felt dirty..LOL! it was pretty dang good though:)

so there's the start of my new 50/50 life! 50% recipes 50% molly mix it up:)

I just wannna say that the thing that made that recipe was the pepper jack cheese corn cake toppers. without those it would have been just another chili that was admittedly good, but nothing to write home about...
